I am a patient of Dr. Landreneau am I want to let him know that I am thinking about him and hopefully he will soon be well enough to come back and work with his patients. I sent him a get well card and hopefully he had rec'd it and also text him to let him know i have been thinking about him and praying for him and his family. Dr. Landreneau is a GOD sent MAN that has done wonders not only for ME but for several other patients he has worked on and I relly appreciate everything he has done to make me better, THANK YOU Dr. Landreneau. My thoughts and prays are with you every night and day. HOPE to see you real soon. GOD BLESS and take care.

Dr Landreneau,

Our son Ricky attends DeLaSalle Collegiate High School in Warren, MI and aspires to be a neurosurgeon. He is currently writing a research paper ond the topic of why he wants to be a neurosurgeon. I, as his mom, found your article extremely interesting-being able to balance such an intense career, family and fun. I have no doubt this is the path he will follow and hope he will be able balance life as you do. His passion is music-he is an awsome guitar player (taught by his dad) and could rival Carlos Santana! I would love to know more about your days as a college student.

Dr Landreneau and family, Hi my name is Sherry Wethey...I was a patient of this wonderful man and am just learning of his illness. My "cage" was put in by the Dr in 2007 and we had great success. During that period of time, I was blessed by his friendship and learned that he was a very unique and fine man. I have called the OLOL ICU waiting room and left a message in hopes that he might know that I called to say again, "Thank You !!!!! I am devastated and so, so sorry. I have thanked him but not ever written a letter or sent him anything special other than brownies on the morning of my surgery that his staff ate...i don't think he ate one of them, bless his heart. We prayed before surgery and as a christian, I and my family have been immensely greatful for and appreciate him so much. He is absolutely the best doctor that I have ever had and been so blessed to have met. He has left a very special place in my heart as a surgeon, friend, and most importantly, as a child of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I can only pray for him, his wife and children. Also, all of the family and friends that he has shared his life with. I would like to express my deep sorrow and heart felt empathy.
